6 preselected participants will attend Poetry on Parade at Monte Vista Elementary in Porterville.
Mrs. Vicki will take the winners from the school science fair to Visalia to attend the Tulare County Science Fair.
Mrs. Mariboho will take a team of 6th grade students to compete the Anti-Tobacco & Marijuana Bowl in Tulare.
Mrs. Ray will take 2 students to compete in the Tulare County Spelling Bee.
The selected winners from each class will preform their poem in front of the school.
